Not really! But I could never work out where he got his money. He drove a top of the range BMW (fully loaded) lived in a million pound mansion, took six exotic holidays a year, yet, damn his eyes, I never saw him do a stroke! It was a total mystery... When I drove off to work in the morning rush hour, his BMW was always in the drive. When I got home again – it was still there. My best guess was he was some sort of currency trader or maybe a highly paid writer? I certainly imagined him slaving away for ten hours a day on a computer in his home office. I spent three grand on a stock-market trading system which came on 10 DVDs with a hefty workbook. Now I don’t consider myself thick by a long way, but I just couldn’t make head or tail of the damned thing. Too many charts, graphs and formulae for my liking!
